With two rounds completed of the 2019 Arise Driver Search, the top 5 have been announced and will be heading to the final round in November to find out who will take out the top prize which is a fully funded seat in the 2020 F1000 Championship Series at Barbagallo Raceway, Western Australia.
Each participant has undertaken a 20 lap driving session in a Radical SR3 RS race car with race coach supervision and instructions. Two of the names lending their knowledge to the participants is Brad Jones Racing Supercars driver Nick Percat and B Sport founder/director BD Soutar-Dawson who has a long list of successful drivers on his coaching list.
The top 5 in no particular order are:
- Andrew Malkin
- Elliott Schutte
- Gianni Lutzu
- Max McRae
- Ryan Bender
These 5 drivers are now in the running to win the top prize but none will walk away empty handed with the full prize list as follows:
1st Place = 100% funded, fully fledged F1000 season drive.
2nd Place = 75% funded, fully fledged F1000 season drive.
3rd Place = 50% funded, fully fledged F1000 season drive.
4th Place = 2x 40 Lap Driver Training Packages.
5th Place = 1x 40 Lap Driver Training Package.
